Hi David,

Some sites are configured only to search the first N lines, N
typically 10. Does our majordomo support that version of the
feature?

(When configured that way, the list software assumes if the word is
well down in the message, it really wasn't intended to be an
administrative request.)

This allows the users to put whatever introductory material is
appropriate at the beginning of the message, and then after 10 lines
put the s ubscribe info

Mark,

In the meantime, what you need to do is simply approve the
posting, and it will go through. The bounce feature simply gives
you a chance to intercept the message if it were posted in error.
Message approval requires strict adherence to the approval format,
but you have probably already learned that. (The majordomo list
management pages give some help on that I think.)
