Hi David!

I)p jumpcuts are working now (I tried a number). Perhaps you have fixed
this already.

Yoikes: this huge. There (obviously) seems to be some problem with the
script that generates this page. (see below)

No comment

On the other hand the SMU men's basketball team beat UNB 88 to 69 (I just
came back from the game) so all is not lost. ;->

The current ips,html is much better than what preceeded it:

    63K Nov 22 17:00 [98] ips.html
   2270K Nov 22 14:32 [99] ips.html.bad

However (I'm guessing) that this file is in a state of uncontrolled growth
driven by the CRON. At the moment thhere are 4 entries for every IP:

 (p 1 of 109)

   ABEL
   [1] Adult Basic Education, Literacy and Upgrading

<snip>
(p 28 of 109)

   ABEL
   [185] Adult Basic Education, Literacy and Upgrading

 (p 55 of 109)
<snip>

   ABEL
   [364] Adult Basic Education, Literacy and Upgrading

(p 82 of 109)
<snip>

   ABEL
   [543] Adult Basic Education, Literacy and Upgrading

The top-most one is in a series sorted alphabetically with uppercase
entries preceeding lowercase entries (I assume you created this one). Then
there are three more full sets of the information where upper- &
lower-case are not distinguished.

It looks to me as if the script that generates the page is not replacing
the information each time the CRON runs, but rather appending a new set
(on an hourly basis?)

Can anyone sort this out and fix it?

I'll turf:

   2270K Nov 22 14:32 [99] ips.html.bad
     16K Nov 22 14:34 [100] ips.html.fixed
     14K Sep 24 1997  [101] ips.html_unsorted

Unless there is some need to keep thiese from purposes of debugging.

Cheers,

Chris
