Hi folks,

As a modest step towards improving the CCN graphical interface and
facilitating navigation and knowledge of what is on the CCN I've created a
draft Site Map.

It is a 'clickable' Usemap located at:

	http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/site_map.html

I'd appreciate feedback on this with respect the following areas:

1) Visual design and ease of understanding [bearing in mind I'm not a
skilled graphic designer and have only a modicum of graphical smarts &
tools at my disposal ;->].

2) Suggestions on utility of categories and groupings.

3) Suggestions (i.e. additions/deletions) of specific documents linked
from this Usemap bearing in mind that

3a) there is only limited real estate available on this page (i.e. we
can't link to everything); and

3b) the (relative) complexity of updating such a document (i.e. once up
and running I would not want to frequently revise it0.

Notes:

1) not all links off this page will yet work. A couple of pages have yet
to be written and the link to the Welcome page is a hypothetical
placeholder (contingent on a PHP gateway to this material). Nonetheless it
is useful (at least for the present) in indicating CCN structures.

2) Although useable in Lynx, its prime audience is a graphical one. Thus
there is little sense in including lynxcgi & lynxprog links, etc.

Comments appreciated!

Chris
