Hi! Wowie, zowie! The CCN tech-team really gets gold-stars for this one! I'm not sure if this is a beta-beta-lynx or beta-shell feature, however, the new interface now allows you to change Unix file permissions via the M)odify key! Faaantastic (to quote Bill Vander Zalm)! Selecting th 'p' option presents you with: Permissions for test.html 1. Specify permissions below: Owner: [X] Read [ ] Write [ ] Execute Group fn-edit: [X] Read [ ] Write [ ] Execute Others: [X] Read [ ] Write [ ] Execute 2. Submit form to permit file test.html. And guess what - I tested it and it actually works! Great stuff guys: this is a real plus for the IP folks. Much appreciated!
