Hi folks, I thought some of you might be interested in the following... ---- Peter Mortimer Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 25 May 1998 15:43:50 -0300 (ADT) From: Michael Colborne <af180@chebucto.ns.ca> To: ccn-board@chebucto.ns.ca Subject: Training Hello Everyone: Lately I have been thinking about the CCN training that we are doing at the library. Up until now, it has been offered at the Spring Garden Road branch only, by Ken Burke. I have been wondering if we should develop additional trainers and expand it to other locations. I was speaking with Ken this afternoon, and his feeling is that demand for training has fallen quite dramatically. A year ago there was a waiting list of a month and a half, six months ago there was a one month waiting list, and since the beginning of the year it has been easy to sign up on one week's notice. I am assuming that this is parallelled by a slowdown in the number of new memberships per month. Have the other trainers noticed a similar decline, or is it just us?
