Index of Subjects I suspect two problems: first, tq is warning about a legitimate problem: for one of your device classes (dialup or network typically) the calculated proportion in use is negative -- this suggests that csuite/tq/classtable is not accurate in terms of the number of devices in a given class that are available. The second problem would be a misconfiguration of /etc/syslogd.conf -- those messages should only be broadcast to a few administrators, not everyone.
