So, it's not a simple solution then. I really need to do something, since the built-in news reader isn't very good. Also, it has a serious problem: it asks the user for their address and organisation, instead of filling that info in itself. I wrote some code involving the } scanning the value of keypad_mode from the value string in OptionsSubmit } using sscanf. It gets a bus error in number called from sscanf. } Oddly, this only happens on Solaris, not Linux... I am assuming I don't recognise your name, so I'm assuming that you're relatively new to the project. Briefly, I spent the last six months, or so, porting CSuite to Solaris 2.x. I'm running a fully patched Solaris 2.5 system. You will find quite a few bug reports from me for portability bugs (and some generic ones). } the problem does not appear. I was hoping that you (or somebody) could point me at the source modules/routines involved to save me some time (Lynx is rather large). Of course, handing me a patch would be even better :-) } help alot. If you have not found it by next week, then I will I haven't really had a chance to look. If I really need to do this, I will. But, I'm running a production system now, and I really need to move on to my next project, which will be to get an HP-UX system on-line then port CSuite to it. }-- End of excerpt from Chris Maxwell
