I discussed this shortly with David Trueman, and we feel that Ed's 
comment about the VCN is still valid.  I don't know if the @@@ABBREV@@@
is different  for a different VCN?  If it is, I'll reconsider changing
things around in a post-beta-2.0 make clean up.

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the
