(Aside: That page asks you to accept a cookie, if you have set up your
configuration for it, so it's a useful test site too :-)

I think we should avoid syntax that is non-standard where possible,
bearing in mind also that HTML+ and HTML3.0 died without approval, even if
Lynx supports it.  The equivalent accepted syntax <a name=
works perfectly well for this purpose.

Of course there are functions which will always be Lynx-specific, but that
does not need to be one of them.  

Besides, we do not need to lead new sites to use stuff that is not widely
supported, thus breaking (for some browsers) pages that they write, using
our pages as models. It's not good user support.
