No, it's not french that's broken.  The tag "<h2 id=unpack>" is new and 
surprised me:

"The ID attribute was proposed in HTML+ and Version 3 to replace the NAME 
attribute"
	- Sandia National Laboratories' HTML Reference
	
Will lynx recognize something that is not standard HTML yet I wonder...
