Ive been thinking of something like this for a while. We don't necessarily
have to get our soldering irons out either :)

One particular alternative Operating System (QNX) has a demo disk (i.e. only
a floppy) that includes everything to set up a PPP connection and surf the
web with a graphical browser. It only requires a 386 w/8mb and pretty much
any VGA card - fairly meager even by Chebucto standards methinks.

We should be setting up a computer 'exchange' - massaging older PCs into
PPPable boxes. We can solicit donations with our magic charitable status.

And ultimately it 'costs' less to run Chebucto, from a personal standpoint
at least, Im thinkinng userhelp especially.
