After reducing the number of weblint warnings from about 180 to the below which I feel are non-critical. % weblint -x Netscape index.html index.html(259): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(259): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(1020): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(1020): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(1025): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(1025): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(1945): bad style - heading <H4> follows <H2> on line 1886. index.html(2413): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(2413): unknown attribute "WP" for element <br>. index.html(2533): unknown element <TAIL>. index.html(2546): unknown element </TAIL>. I tried the version of Chebucto Lynx compiled on Blue Sky under Solaris. The behavior was such that: 1. Only the first link (at the top) worked, the rest would only go to the top of the document. 2. Chebucto said that it loaded 125/125 pages when there are actually 187 pages. It is a 120 kByte file (2547 lines) that expands to roughly 200 kBytes (4000 lines) after being parsed. I can't comment on how Netscape Communicator 4.01 behaves because I have a Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM video card and Netscape does not talk well with the driver. Application CRASH! But it does appear to load the entire document. _________________________________________________________ Kevin Georgison E-Mail: mailto:keving@freenet.mb.ca http://www.mbnet.mb.ca/~georgkev Technical Services Committee Muddy Waters Community Network. http://www.freenet.mb.ca _________________________________________________________
