We passed along the NE side of Rencontre Island and at 1945 had the anchor down in Hunt Island cove. Our evening celebration was a fine steamed dinner cooked on the woodstove, which simultaneously dried out three soggy crew in the toasty cabin. Peter was awarded his special tot of rum for being the first to sight land. The other crew followed his good example as we celebrated our 35-hour crossing from Cape Breton to “The Rock”.
