First I = walked in my Wolfville east-end neighborhood =97 first forget-me-nots in = bloom, first one white butterfly but unidentified, and a big bunch of = blooming lesser celandine plants (buttercups) at the upper edge of a = local pond/stream. Great day for checking eagle nests for eaglets (safely by car): (a) Miner Lane, Grand Pre, west of G.P. Park =97 both adult bald eagles = on nes, appeared to be feeding on something, but no eaglets were = visible; I drove north on farming road across dykelands, and I had a nice view = north to West Long Island and its two bald eagle nests, one at Leungs=92 = home and, about 0.9 km. east of there, the new nest not far from the = road to Evangeline Beach. (b) Leungs=92 b. eagle nest, West Long Island =97 definitely two eaglets = visible, with one adult on nest; (c) new W. Long Island eagle nest, east from Leungs=92 =97 one eaglet in = nest, both adult eagles perched in nest-tree; (d) Anglican Church, east Wolfville along Main St. =97 one eaglet in = nest, looking larger than other eaglets seen today?, plus one adult on = nest-rim.. =97=97=97=97=97=97=97=97=97=97=97=97 Cheers from Jim in Wolfville= --Apple-Mail=_9AD9C640-0E79-495E-8F5D-3EBDD4EDE472 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html; charset=windows-1252 <html><head><meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html = charset=3Dwindows-1252"></head><body style=3D"word-wrap: break-word; = -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;"><div = style=3D"margin: 0px;"><b>MAY 11/20</b> =97 beautiful sunny and warm day = (up to 18 C.).
