CPAWS is asking for letters to the provincial government concerning the secret de-listing of Owl's Head Provincial Park Reserve as a park & protected area, and it's impending sale to a private developer for a golf course. Piping Plovers and Barn Swallows are said to nest here, as well as it being a globally rare ecosystem. Another case of economic development for a poor area of N.S. versus protection of a coastal reserve. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/owls-head-provincial-park-development-golf-eastern-shore-1.5433792 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/natural-resources-protected-land-golf-course-development-1.5397821 https://action.cpaws.org/page/54853/action/1?ea.url.id=4527640 Lois Codling
