I had a Ring-Bi This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0040_01D4C06D.CF6ECB60 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Paul, =20 The Maryland address you see on the band can be used to report band = information but most people no longer use the postal service to do so. = As Ken noted, you can report bird bands through a web page. There you will be presented with = an online form that you will fill out to report the information. =20 You can also use the toll-free number 1-800-327-BAND. =20 Bird banding in Canada is coordinated through the Bird Banding Office, = National Wildlife Research Centre, Environment and Climate Change Canada = in Ottawa. However North American bird banding is jointly administered = by Canada and the USA and the central repository for all banding = information is in the USA.=20 =20 As you=E2=80=99ll note from the web address above, the web page is = administered by the US Geological Survey=E2=80=99s Bird Banding = Laboratory.
