to date we haven=E2=80=99t seen any sign of the illness here at White =
Point. We did last year.=20

We have decided to take down the feeders this weekend as we have a heavy =
Finch presence this year. More than ever before of both Goldfinches and =
Purple Finches.=20
I hate to do it since there is a lot of nesting about the property but =
we are concentrating the feeders in the grapevine arbor and as it leafs =
out, the moist, darker conditions beneath might create a nasty. Also we =
have to deal with the collapse of the whole setup structurally so the =
vines are being cut away and redesigning and rebuilding should happen =
over the summer.=20
Best regards, Marg Millard, White Point.=20

.......................................
I had another phone call of a sickly looking finch, which seems to match =
Trichinosis. This time from Wileville. The other one where the bird =
died was in Upper LaHave. I've had a few more calls in which death was =
caused by other means. =
