Finally got the feeders up at the new house. All hanging from a thin line due to lots of raccoons. 11 species so far which is pleasing. Hairy and Downy WPs, purple and gold finches, Red and White nuthatches, Jays, Chickadees, starlings and lots of doves and Juncos picking up the spillage. Also crows trying to hold on but without success.
Interesting to see a face off between a hairy WP and a starling on either side of a suet block. The WP spread its wings and became very aggressive and the bigger Starling soon backed off.
