The grebes and loon have been there for the pas= t 1-1/2 weeks or so. Also 1 Golden-crowned Kinglet was seen in the evergre= ens by the houses on the road between the Rainbow Haven Park entrance and t= he Bailey Bridge and a Bald Eagle was in his favourite tree behind the same= houses. At Dartmouth Cove this morning there were 9 Red-necked Grebes grooming and = sleeping and 1 Red-breasted Merganser. I think that the eagles may have taken up residence in the nest at Cow Bay/= Silver Sands Beach as it looks like there is some white from the head of a= bird, possibly sitting on eggs?=20 Paul Murray Dartmouth Sent from Mail for Windows 10 --_715F3FC4-2C6B-4EF0-B9AC-8DC80B3C36A4_ Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html; charset="utf-8" <html xmlns:o=3D"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:w=3D"urn:sc= hemas-microsoft-com:office:word" xmlns:m=3D"http://schemas.microsoft.com/of= fice/2004/12/omml" xmlns=3D"http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">
<meta ht= tp-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dutf-8"><meta name= =3DGenerator content=3D"Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)">
<body lang=3DEN-CA link=3Dblue vlink=3D"#954F72">

2018-03-20

D= artmouth, NS

There were 2 Red-necked Grebes and 1 Common Loon feeding = in the lagoon at Rainbow Haven this morning.=C2=A0 The grebes and loon have= been there for the past 1-1/2 weeks or so.=C2=A0 Also 1 Golden-crowned = Kinglet was seen in the evergreens by the houses on the road between th= e Rainbow Haven Park entrance and the Bailey Bridge and a Bald Eagle= was in his favourite tree behind the same houses.

=

At Dartmouth Cove this morning th= ere were 9 Red-necked Grebes grooming and sleeping and 1 Red-brea= sted Merganser.

I think that the eagles may have taken up residence in the nes= t at Cow Bay/ Silver Sands Beach as it looks like there is some white from = the head of a bird, =C2=A0possibly sitting on eggs?

Paul Murray

Dartmouth

Sent from <a href=3D"https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=3D550986= ">Mail for Windows 10

</di= v>

= --_715F3FC4-2C6B-4EF0-B9AC-8DC80B3C36A4_--
