--Apple-Mail-F75B2D17-91F2-4920-9BC5-8997EBACBD4C Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable My brother was snorkelling in Little Mushamush L, Lun Co. yesterday. A deep c= lear spring fed lake. He encountered groups of seemingly regurgitated pellet= s on the bottom. Here is his description: "Individual pellets were 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter and slightly longer, fo= und in groups and usually a bunch of them in the same area. Looked just [lik= e] scat but with organics stripped off - so a loosly bound together gray mas= s of what seemed to be small bones. When you picked it up underwater it was c= ohesive, but would readily come apart with minimal pressure. I snorkelled al= l around one island in north part of Mushamush, and saw them in gravel/rock i= n various places in water up to 8 ft deep. All within 50 feet of shore (afte= r that depth drops off rapidly)." I thought maybe Pike? Birds? He notes he has seen a large Brown Bullhead (fi= sh) around this island before. The island is covered with tall pines growing= right to the waters edge. Any ideas?
