Jake MacDonald called me today to report the following from his home area along lower Maple Ave. in east Wolfville: 2 pairs of cardinals at his feeders, plus several other male cardinals heard singing; about 10 c. grackles, with a few (3?) brown-headed cowbirds; Jake also mentioned a report earlier this spring from him (date??), when his neighbourhood was FULL of cedar waxwings, totalling about 500 or more.
