This weekend I was at the Amherst Point Bird Sanctuary with Keith Lowe, and I spotted a pair of large grey geese foraging along with the Canada Geese. They might be farm geese, though they would be quite distant from a farm in the area I saw them. But even domestic geese might be able to fly. I am putting this out there in case there are birders in the area to keep an eye out and see if a photo can be had of this pair of geese, if they are still there. Unfortunately Keith didn't see them, and I didn't take a photo; we did the trail a second time but did not spy them again that day. I'm hoping someone else might spot them and get a photo for identification.
