* most of what's reported is the success (or not) of helping creatures 
across the road by hand or through culverts - to measure crossing 
success you'd need 24/7 video coverage, and time to watch it, and with 
the location of crossings varying as much as a kilometre or more, that's 
just not what has been quantitatively focused on.

* that would be the adopt-a-crossing programme OREG was looking for 
funding for. Okay, we can put this on our list of things to do in the 
next few days. The problem will be how to arrange to archive the data, 
but that shouldn't be intractable.
