Maybe because it is an El Nino year but I noticed the last two storms
including today, Yarmouth and the Acadian actually got some winter. But
remarkably I've yet to see any accumulation of snow or ice on Cape Sable
Island on NovaSocotiaWebcams dot com. I suspect there must be hardy species
of palm tree that could survive there.
