Index of Subjects Dear All, June 14, 2015 I noticed bee activity a few minutes ago associated with a small hole in puddled dry sandy loam (where I normally stand to sharpen saw etc.). https://www.flickr.com/photos/91817127@N08/18619551680/in/dateposted-public/ The hole, plugged by a bee, is just to the right of the cut grass culm. The abdomen, which shows only when they fly is glossy black above. The ruler on the left is cm/mm. I think they are emerging because in have seen none going in. There is a large flat rock about one dm away so they may have winterer under it ? Approximate ID anyone ? Yt, DW, Kentville
