It was not large. Steve Vines and I had both Hoary and Brown Elfins (2 e= ach) along power line on Mackinnon L Rd near Sunnybrae Pictou Co. The Hoary m= ight be new for the Glencoe square, 29NR 32, but I am not sure. Will be nice= when last year's data gets on the maps. Azures also seen. It was mostly s= unny here till noon.=20 Yesterday I had Red Admiral in town of Pictou and Black Swallowtail in Grant= on and in my yard in Plymouth. Cabbage Whites seem widespread. In general, I= find butterflies have been very uncommon so far this spring.
