Dear All, May 23, 2015 For >30 years we have had a volunteer hedge of Norway Maple along one side of the lot and their leaves in spring and summer have, up till now, been uniformly green with a hint of yellow. This year, one tree has bright scarlet leaves and two have leaves which are somewhat red. I am wondering if this unusual leaf coloration is a response to the unusual winter and is showing up elsewhere in Norway Maple or if it is unique to this hedge and with a localized cause. Yt, Dave Webster, Kentville
