A huge "Thank You" to everyone who has submitted Rusty Blackbird sightings to eBird.org, submitted checklists through the Blitz protocol, sent me your sightings, or taken an interest in the Blitz! If you have sightings that you have not yet submitted, please do so using the =E2=80=9CRusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz=E2=80=9D protocol prior= to July 1st. Of course, Rusty sightings are valuable when submitted to eBird.org during any season. Next year will be the final year for the Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz, and based on the increase in Rusty Blackbird reports this spring when compared with last, I expect 2016 will bring even more reports! I will send out a recap of the numbers sometime soon, but for now, here is the eBird map showing all reports from April-May in NS: http://ebird.org/ebird/map/rusbla?bmo=3D04&emo=3D05&byr=3D2015&eyr=3D2015&e= nv.minX=3D-66.396&env.minY=3D43.389&env.maxX=3D-59.643&env.maxY=3D47.227&gp= =3Dtrue As always, if you have any questions about the Blitz or Rusty Blackbirds, visit the Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz website: http://rustyblackbird.org/outreach/migration-blitz/ or the appropriate section of the NSBS website: http://nsbirdsociety.ca/index.php/volunteer/rusty-blackbird-spring-migratio= n-blitz or send me an email on or off-list.
