Right away we spotted oodles = of living goldfishes that were swimming along the edges of the pond, and = a small minority of them were coloured pale whitish. We also saw dozens = of old dead fishes, several of which were larger in size than the living = gold ones. And the dead ones were all pale-coloured, but of course we = can=92t know what colour they were in life. >=20 > Along Belcher Street toward Kentville, a flying small n. harrier (very = probable male) flew low over our car and headed south. >=20 > Then we visited Kentville=92s Miner=92s Marsh on this glorious, sunny, = warm day (16+ C., no wind). On our arrival, at the river bridge we = noticed Irene & Don Wright looking straight up with their telephoto = lenses, and on a high horizontal red-oak branch was an adult female? = PEREGRINE FALCON, which was plucking, pulling apart, and feeding on a = killed medium-sized bird, which we are guessing was a rock pigeon. We = were told that this falcon had been doing this for quite some time and = attracted lots of attention.
