I have to use these for nocturnal = owl surveys and forest songbird point counts. Because I am relatively = new to forest songbird monitoring, it takes some practice each year to = remember some of the less obvious/uncommon acronyms (much less = remembering all the songs and calls). Like it or not, many of us have = to use them if we want to participate.
