David said the grit was too big for a Junco and Marina thought that the scat w the wild lily of valley in it was deposited by a grouse that we've noted in that area. So, so far we have evidence in NS indicating that these seeds are ingested by grouse and scatter-hoarded by the vole in David's wood pile.
