We see them occasionally in the cove which is predominately salt.

As a follow-up to my beaver sighting last night. Where I saw a beaver,
late evening coming down a brook and into a culvert, which goes into the
mouth of the LaHave River. My dad said he saw a beaver today in front of his
house in East LaHave swimming. Does anyone know if beavers have been
reported previously swimming in saltwater or if the young will enter saltwater to
cover an expanse to explore for new territory. I've never heard of such
before, but would be interested in thoughts or comments.
