Index of Subjects There is such a site just off the Beaverbank Rd at the point the Uniacke Mines Rd joins.. Could be your spot. Another one you might consider is Court-house Hil - Five County Lookout,'' Further up the Beaverbank Rd... Cross the #14 at Upper Rawdon, and keep going another 5 - 6 km. High ground, blueberry fields, and a clear view across to the Cobequids. The "air strip" at the location I am thinking of was just a short walk up a gravel path from the road, and was far too short and narrow for real planes. I seem to recall that it might have been used by model planes. Of course I only saw it at night and so never got a good idea of just how long it was.
