I thought of Conrad=E2=80=99s also, but I=E2=80=99ve been told that =
there was an island (Egg Island?) that used to be quite visible just =
past Fox Point. Now, you can just see some breakers out where it used =
to be.

I agree with Blake; it does look a lot like Fox Point of old, where =
there were enough shacks for even the local motorcycle gang to attempt a =
presence.

All the best,

This is a bit off-topic for NatureNS, but since many members are =
familiar with places all over Nova Scotia, I thought that I might turn =
to the list for some assistance.=20

I'm working on cataloguing many old photos belonging to my parents. =
Before she died, my mother provided all sorts of fascinating info about =
most of them, but a few photos have since surfaced and of course she is =
no longer around to help me with the details.

Here is a photo of a beach almost certainly in Nova Scotia. The picture =
probably dates from the 1960s. Do you recognize the location? If you =
have any idea where it is, I'd be glad to hear from you.

Thanks

Peter Payzant
