I did not add = much to my spring birds except a Mourning Warbler (Coromonie Rd.) and = five Canada Warblers with a total of 16 warbler species. There seem to = me more Yellow-bellied Flycatchers about, but I have yet to hear Alder, = Olive-sided, E W Peewee and E. Kingbird. There are probable a few about, = but certainly not in any numbers. Least Flycatchers were very abundant = with 13 in my loop drive.=20 The little roadside pond in Churchville still has a Canada Goose on a = probable nest (been there for quite some time now!), a couple of male = Wood Ducks, 4-5 small young Black Ducks which appeared a couple days = ago and a calling Sora.=20 On the Brook Rd. I discovered a Hairy Woodpecker nest with audible young = and the fem carrying food to the nest hole about 10m high in live = poplar.=20 cheers Ken ------=_NextPart_000_00AC_01CF7905.3DADA020 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.23588"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Ken McKenna<BR>Box 218 Stellarton = NS<BR>B0K=20 1S0<BR>902 752-7644</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial><BR>HI all</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Took a couple hours this morning to = look for some=20 arrivals in the Churchville, Brookville, Springville area near my place. = I did=20 not add much to my spring birds except a <STRONG>Mourning Warbler=20 (</STRONG>Coromonie Rd.) and five <STRONG>Canada Warblers</STRONG> = with a=20 total of 16 warbler species.
