   Once again Adora Parsons has had some interesting birds at their garden =
at 20 Park St.=2C Middleton. A pair of Great Crested Flycatchers (presumab=
ly the same ones as last year) have returned and are nesting in the same bo=
x. She advises anyone wanting to see them to go to the back door. You may=
 hear or see them from there before she gets to the door. Although the pol=
e with the nest bax is across the garden=2C it can be seen well from the st=
ep=2C and I would advise against going closer=2C especially at this early s=
tage of nesting=2C when they are most susceptible to disturbance. During 1=
5 minutes there this afternoon=2C I was able to get good looks at both=2C o=
ne of which was carrying nesting material into the box=2C as well as a card=
inal=2C a sapsucker=2C a R-t Hummingbird=2C and other species.

   The Summer Tanager=2C an immature male=2C appeared at their feeders on t=
he morning of May 13=2C but did not stay and has not been seen since. Alth=
ough it left so quickly that Adora was the only one to get to see it=2C she=
 noted the mainly red plumage=2C lack of black wings=2C and a patch of gree=
nish on the nape. Perhaps the Lunenburg Co. one paid a visit?

Cheers=2C
