Hi Paul=20
It is an odd looking white spot. I once photographed a Northern Harrier =
with a wing tag at Waterside In Pictou Co. It had been banded I think in =
Sackville NB before leaving the nest. The wing tag was coloured in that =
case. That this spot is white might be just an out of place feather, but =
has the appearance of a small wing tag. Just a thought. I googled =
Broad-winged banding and got one result but it was radio tagging. Maybe =
others have some thoughts on the white spot.=20
cheers
ken

  Hi All,

For those who climbed Cape Spit on Sunday, and others who may be =
interested, here are some of the pictures that I took. It was a great =
day for me, but next time I will bring my donkey to carry the camera =
gear!

For Patrick Kelly =E2=80=93 I think the hawk is a Broad-winged but the =
white spot on the top outer wing is unusual? Maybe you or someone else =
can advise.
