Hi Jim et al.,

A Song Sparrow in full song is almost certainly on territory, unlike those =
blackbirds and warblers =97 and White-throated Sparrows, for that matter.

Our local birds have chortled a bit through the winter, especially at dawn,=
 but over the past week or so they=92ve started their full-out countersingi=
ng contests (though they=92re taking a break today, quite sensibly). There=
