There is much singing around here the past couple day. Yesterday pm I =
had three different sparrows singing on the same piece of grapevine, A =
song sparrow, a White-throat and an American Tree. Lovely ! Ran for my =
camera, forgot to include sound but did get photos of the three as the =
snow started and they gradually got quieter and quieter. I posted sone =
of them online. I=E2=80=99ve spent evenings lately trying to learn what =
mean what and today decided to just enjoy!
Marg Millard, White Point, Queens.
.............................

Not wishing to be argumentative this morning, but singing doesn't =
necessarily indicate bird is "on territory" -- I invite further =
comments, but think of grackles and red-winged blackbirds when they =
arrive in the northern parts of their range and engage in "group =
gronks"/communal singing, and of course migrating male warblers that =
sing all their way north -- are their territories moving with them as =
they travel? What say you, Lance? and others?=20

Cheers, and nothing personal, James, from Jim in Wolfville.
