My view was south, down Barrington Street. It was not unusual between 2009 and 2012 to see Peregrines perched on the CIBC sign on top of the building on the SE corner of Duke and Barrington, and I once saw one take a Rock Pigeon in midair there and devour it on the roof of the Parkade. I wouldn't be surprised if there were insurance company offices in that building as well, or that there was a Peregrine nest in the vicinity.
