Dear All, Jan 29, 2014 Yesterday I got out to North Alton for the first time in 68 days, just to walk not work; snowshoes necessary. In a former field area, now with blackberries, and adjacent mostly apple & alder woodland there were good sign of Rabbit (Snowshoe Hare) & Ruffed Grouse.with a smattering of Mouse tunnels, Deer tracks & Coyote tracks. Woods further back had mostly Deer and Coyote tracks. The odd Maple and Birch had been topped by the ice and many conifers were topped or bowed over. Yt, Dave Webster, Kentville
