--089e0139fcee42ea2504ec7d85af Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 I found two Snowy Owls on the Avonport dyke this morning about a mile east of the two reported by Rick Whitman in north Grand Pre yesterday - the other side of the Gaspereaux River estuary (aka 'the Guzzle'). http://tinyurl.com/odpxego Also had a nice pair of Common Mergansers and several Red Throated Loons further out. On a sombre note Mr Burns, my Golden Retriever, flushed a male Black Duck in the salt marsh grass. The bird managed to evade Mr Burns - no big surprise - but could not fly. It's left wing was obviously broken, likely by someone's #2 load :-( Other than that a good day. Sorry for the poor quality photo. -- Jamie Simpson Hantsport, NS --089e0139fcee42ea2504ec7d85af Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">I found two Snowy Owls on the Avonport dyke this morning a= bout a mile east of the two reported by Rick Whitman in north Grand Pre yes= terday - the other side of the Gaspereaux River estuary (aka 'the Guzzl= e').<div> <br></div><div><a href=3D"http://tinyurl.com/odpxego">http://tinyurl.com/od= pxego</a><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Also had a nice pair = of Common Mergansers and several Red Throated Loons further out.</div><div> <br></div><div>On a sombre note Mr Burns, my Golden Retriever, flushed a ma= le Black Duck in the salt marsh grass. =A0The bird managed to evade Mr Burn= s - no big surprise - but could not fly. =A0It's left wing was obviousl= y broken, likely by someone's #2 load :-(</div> <div><br></div><div>Other than that a good day. =A0Sorry for the poor quali= ty photo.</div><div>=A0<div><div><br></div>-- <br><div dir=3D"ltr"><div>Jam= ie Simpson<br></div>Hantsport, NS<br></div> </div></div></div> --089e0139fcee42ea2504ec7d85af--
