For several years I have intended to look for Pine Warblers in the Miller Point Park in the outskirts of Bridgewater, which has a fine stand of White Pine. Stimulated by James Hirtle's sighting of a Pine Warbler there several weeks ago, today was the day. I found at least one (possibly two) singing male Pine Warblers. At on location, a male and a female foraged rapidly on fat green caterpillars and appeared to be carrying some away. In MBBA days this would certainly rate a CF breeding confirmation. Other species in this lovely woodland included several Ovenbirds and E. Wood-pewees, a singing Blackburnian and several other warblers. Eric L.
