I arrived at 8:40 and noted a modest = number circling the chimney counter clockwise. It was 10C, a clear, calm = evening and there seemed to be some sort of entertainment or dance on at = the school as when a door was opened the party sounds filled the air!. This did not seem to bother the swifts at all and at 8:42, 1 entered the = chimney. The largest bulk (119) went in at 8:44 and last 4 entered at = 8:49. By the time I left at 8:53, I had a total of 233, my largest count = for this spring. Remember each evening till the solstice the entry will = be later except for evenings when it might be darker conditions because = of cloud or rain. Best to arrive 40 min. before sunset. for a good show. = Rose-breasted Grosbeak returned to my yard in Plymouth May 15.=20 cheers Ken ------=_NextPart_000_0011_01CE52EA.44EA1720 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.23487"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Ken McKenna<BR>Box 218 Stellarton = NS<BR>B0K=20 1S0<BR>902 752-7644<BR></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Hi all </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>There was a nice showing by the Chimney = Swifts at=20 Temperance St. school, New Glasgow, last night (May 16).
