Subject: GRAY SQUIRREL sighted in Wolfville -- & TV program Thurs. & Wed.
Jan. 30/13 -- Sherman Bleakney called to alert me about this from Monday=2C=
Jan. 28/13:
Sherman Bleakney in Wolfville reports he saw a GRAY SQUIRREL at his home at=
the top of Kent Avenue. This is the first Wolfville sighting in quite a w=
hile=2C although this town has some history of sightings and even of breedi=
ng.
Speaking of squirrels=2C I think tomorrow's Nature of Things on CBC-TV at 8=
pm is supposed to be "the inside story of squirrels [gray squirrels]"=2C a=
ccording to David Suzuki last week.
AND TONIGHT on PBS-Boston TV=2C NATURE=2C at 9 pm is part 2 of 3 of David A=
ttenborough's Life Stories=2C or some such title. He is still the king of =
narrators of nature films in my estimation. Then at 11 pm also on PBS is t=
he "Life On Fire" series=2C which has a lot of good natural history in it f=
rom all over the world.
