Also to our north, along the old Planters dyke, Rick Whitman and I saw 3 or 4 great blue herons. Bernard Forsythe had looked earlier, in morning, and no godwit was seen. But let's keep looking, since yesterday there was a long-beaked large shorebird that was different from the yellowlegs.
