Heavy rains appeared to bring migration to a standstill. It also became increasingly difficult to keep microphones dry! Only 464 night flight calls were recorded during the week with the most common bird being Savannah Sparrow, followed by Common Yellowthroat, White-throated Sparrow, and Black-throated Green Warbler. Rare or unusual birds this week included Scarlet Tanager and White-crowned Sparrow.
