Hello all,

Saturday August 18th 2012, Graves Island Provincial Park, Chester Nova
Scotia. I noticed a patch along the trail a few metres wide where there
were bunchberries [*Cornus canadensis*] still in flower. This struck me as
very odd given I normally think of bunchberry flowering in mid-late June.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does have any explanation/theories as to why
this may be occurring?

Thank you,
Ian
