Hi Again, Aug 13, 2012 I just remembered that my Experimental Physical Chemistry book has a brief section on statistics-- quoting page 404-- "Equation (1) is referred to as a normalized distribution function, since the coefficient is such that the probability of x lying between x = -infinity and x= + infinity is unity." Where Eq. 1 is the Gaussian function (error function) Odd that I didn't remember that verbatim. Yt, DW
