The culprit is actua= lly a new species of flea beetle to the province. Well it app= ears Chris was correct....flea beetle , yes.....willow, no. This springs CF= IA informed it me it has been identified as Orchestes fagi, the beech flea = weevil a native of Europe. They are currently investigating and looking for= sites of the damage to determine the range of this species.
